Meeting Notice: Planning Board

The Harrison Town Planning Board has an upcoming meeting on Tuesday, June 23 @ 7:30 pm, Harrison Municipal Building, One Heineman Place, Harrison, NY.

There are several applications before the Board of concern to PEPA including:

103-105 Corporate Park Drive, Block 621, Lot 3 Public Hearing

At last month’s session, the Planning Board announced the DEIS for the Corporate Park Drive application was complete and scheduled the Public Hearing. The proposed plan to construct 421 multifamily residential units on the site raises many concerns.

PEPA’s legal counsel, Harris Beach, PLLC  and environmental consultants, The Louis Berger Group, Inc. made site visits and have carefully reviewed the proposal to provide the Board with technical comments and concerns as it relates to 103-105 Corporate Park Drive's proposed plan.

Presently, we are reviewing the DEIS that was posted just last week on the Town’s website last week. Our comments on the DEIS will be shared at the June 23rd hearing. A copy of the DEIS can be found here.

New comment letters will be posted when complete, after the public hearing.

Other June 23rd agenda items we are monitoring include:

  • PARCEL B OFFICE BUILDING – 2 Manahattanville Road –  PEPA continues to carefully oversee this longtime, ill conceived application and will share updates with our members after the meeting.
  • KEIO ACADEMY OF NEW YORK – STUDENT CENTER – We expect the Board to complete the Adoption of Resolutions
  • BRIGHTVIEW SENIOR LIVING OF HARRISON – 600 Lake Street, Block 995, Lots 11 & 12, Block 994, Lot 6 – Petition for Zoning Amendment, Site Plan Review, Steep Slope Permit, Special Exception Use Permit, SEQR Review
