Recap: 2012 Annual Members Meeting and Earth Day

April 22, 2012, marked the 42nd anniversary of the original Earth Day and PEPA (Purchase Environmental Protection Association) chose to celebrate by holding its Annual Membership Meeting at the Neuberger Museum of Art at Purchase College. Immediately after the conclusion of the Annual Meeting, the membership enjoyed a social gathering with a private tour of the Neuberger Museum’s current exhibition Visionary Sugar: Works by Kiki Smith. In Visionary Sugar, internationally acclaimed artist Kiki Smith explores the interdependence of all living things, representing and celebrating the vitality of an "animistic, spiritually-charged universe."

PEPA encourages celebrating the Earth every day! And it as easy as taking an extra moment to truly observe the beauty and vitality of nature around you, or by actively making a switch to using energy efficient light bulbs.
