Sun, Sep 14, 2014 • Trinity Presbyterian

Don’t miss the Harrison Planning Board Meeting on Tuesday, September 23rd, 7:30pm, Municipal Building, Harrison, NY.  The 9th agenda item requires your attention;

TRINITY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH – HOUSE OF WORSHIP/BUILDING ADDITION – 526-530 Anderson Hill Road, Block 643, Lots 7, 44, 49 – Draft Environmental Impact Statement Review.

Please join like-minded residents, as we continue to work together to prevent the plan by Trinity Presbyterian Church (TPC) to construct a new building of 19,800 sq. ft. and at least 130 paved parking spaces on 526 – 530 Anderson Hill Road.

Your attendance is essential to defeat this application.

What will happen at the meeting?

The Town issued a "Scoping Document" in February (see link below). Since then, the applicant has been preparing an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), which includes analyzing and responding to all comments received and should include additional studies and modeling to evaluate probable impacts raised by PEPA’s legal counsel and environmental consultants. The agenda item indicates that the that the draft EIS is completed, the applicant will be allowed to proceed by sharing their “findings” at this monthly Town Village Harrison (TVH) Planning Board meeting.

Timing?

The Trinity Presbyterian Church application appears on the agenda for the upcoming September 23rd Planning Board meeting. Be assured the PEPA team will attend to learn the outcomes of the applicant’s studies, responses, and to formally request a copy of the EIS. Once a copy is secured our legal counsel and environmental consultants will analyze and critique the findings.
