Trinity Presbyterian Church Draft Environmental Impact Statement

The planning board accepted the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) as complete at the Tuesday, September 23rd meeting. The board did not allow for any substantive public comment and set a public hearing for October 28, 2014. The DEIS is available and can be viewed on the Town's website.

Please Mark Your Calendar. Don't miss the Public Hearing for the Trinity Church's Application & FEIS on Tuesday, October 28th, 7:30 pm, at the Municipal Building, Harrison, NY.

Public comment, oral and written, will be accepted at the October 28th meeting. Your attendance is essential to defeat this application.

Please note, the acceptance of the DEIS merely begins the public comment period. It does not approve anything. In order for the Planning Board to accept the DEIS as final (FEIS) its members must review "the findings"  in the document by taking a "hard look" as it is required to under State law. (See NYS Environmental Statement Process below).
