Airport Updates
Dear PEPA Member:
Thank you for your recent questions and interest in airport matters and progress being made. As a member of the Coalition to Prevent Westchester Airport Expansion, PEPA is participating in an upcoming zoom conference.
On Monday evening, November 9, 2020 at 7:00pm, leadership from the Coalition will hold a 1-hour meeting via Zoom to update and discuss with you the latest developments at the Westchester County Airport.
The Coalition recently sent a save the date notice that invited supporters “to learn about several significant developments at HPN and help decide what we do about them:
The Coalition's recent meetings with County Executive George Latimer and his team
What’s been happening at the airport under COVID-19 and the resumption of activity
A proposal for flight-path changes that could help with noise reduction
New studies on water quality and air pollution
What to expect in 2021 given the County's draft airport budget”
Please save the date for a briefing via Zoom on November 9, 2020 at 7:00pm. You will receive a Zoom invitation and link about a week before the meeting with more details.
