This is a follow-up to the meeting notice regarding the Trinity Presbyterian Church presentation at the December 17, 2013 session of the Town Village Harrison Planning Board.
At last night's meeting, the Trinity Presbyterian Church applied for a special exception use permit to build a place of worship on 526 — 530 Anderson Hill Road. The plan includes constructing a new building of 19,800 sq. feet and at least 130 paved parking spaces.
The Planning Board declared itself as "lead agency" and issued a positive declaration under SEQRA. Therefore, a full-scale environmental review will take place. The Board also informed the applicant that detailed scoping documents would be required in regards to traffic and roadway safety.
Thank you for those who took the time to attend the meeting. Your participation truly counts and sends a strong signal to the Town that the community is concerned about the potential adverse environmental impacts as a result of the proposed construction of a church on the Site.
The Planning Board set the next hearing for the Trinity Church application on January 28th, 2014. Please mark your calendar to attend.
